My Colo Cabinet (latest)

Here are some shots of the cabinet this site and a few others are housed in. Mostly for my personal projects, I also let friends put their servers in here for fast speeds and getting gear out of the house. Click on the photos for full resolution.

Currently the cabinet has installed (top to bottom looking at the front):

  • Unused Asus ION Atom 330 with 4GB ram installed
  • 4x Supermicro Atom D510 w/IPMI and 4GB ram installed (eucalyptus cloud nodes)
  • 1 supermicro Atom 330 with 2GB installed (eucalyptus cloud controller)
  • RJ's 1U VPS machine
  • My 1U VPS machine
  • RJ's 1U 4 drive Atom D510 4GB ram file server
  • My 3U 8 drive Atom D510 4GB ram file server

    Looking from the rear, the extra goodies are:

  • Axis 215 PTZ mounted on the cabinet ceiling grate
  • Axis M1011 mounted upper rear right corner
  • 20x IR LED lamp for viewing camera when cabinet is dark
  • Cisco 3548 for networking
  • Panduit cable management tray
  • Tripp-Lite metered powerstrip

    Everything in the cabinet is on IPv4 & IPv6 (even all my IPMI connections!), except:

  • the PTZ camera which is IPv6 only (my choice)
  • RJ's fileserver, to my knowledge
  • the Cisco switch (its old!)
  • the stuffed penguin
  • the Tripp-Lite
