SSDs and Atoms, how I love thee

Picked up an Intel 40GB SSD for my home workstation's Ubuntu installation. The 1TB drive with 10.04 has been throwing errors, and well, I haven't played with SSD yet, and the Intels have a good rep. Installation of Ubuntu 10.04-64bit took like no time. And even updating the system took like 10 minutes. Boot time...is horribly awesomely fast. @3s, system is up and loading graphics. @8s Ubuntu is automatically logged in and all of networking is up. Configured up the work VPN and then the broker VPN, and both are quite stable.

Also building a media-PC with an Intel D510 chip+board (and wtf, Intel was cheap on their own board and used Realtek NICs, not even Intel), with a Cooler Master Elite 100 case + 150w PSU (not 80+), slim-line cd/dvd drive, and an OCZ 32GB SSD. I haven't been a huge fan of OCZ memory products, so figured I'd use that one in the not-as-important machine. This machine will go in our spare room, and act as a desktop for anyone visiting and spending the night, as well as a multimedia machine to view online/dvd lessons for bass/guitar for myself.
